On Tuesday, June 4, GlycoMimetics CEO Rachel King moderated a panel on breaking down barriers and stereotypes for women and other under-represented groups in the biotechnology industry and how we can collectively build up the next generation.
Panel participants included:

Panelists considered topics such as mentorship and mentoring, how diversity contributes to excellence in organizations, gaining confidence in one's own leadership abilities, and diversity representation across organizations, leadership ranks and Boards of Directors.
Said Dr. Simonian, "As we lead in organizations, we need to take a page out of the books of others while still being true to ourselves."
